3 nights, the Yarra Valley, 12 women.
Here’s your Yarra Valley Retreat Wrap 2025
This retreat almost didn’t happen. 8 days post bowel cancer surgery, I know I’m strong but I wasn’t sure if this was wise.
That’s when Emily messaged me – you can’t host a retreat in 8 days by yourself – I’m coming.
Nestled in the Yarra Valley, on a cold winter weekend – we entered Eden. My retreats aren’t curated. They’re not perfect. They’re real. They’re raw. They’re honest. We have a schedule – but regularly go over time…the conversations just flow, the connections build and that….is what makes them perfect.
The ladies
There’s no “one type” that joins me on these retreats. There are mums, new mums, mums of teens, grandparents, non mums, single women, women in relationships they aren’t happy in. There are women who feel lost, or who just need a break. Women who aren’t sure why they needed this…..and then it reveals itself.
One thing I love though – is giving women the space. The space to breathe, the space to open up in their own time. The space to not feel judged, listened to, to be able to share their truth or if needed – to listen to others and not feel alone.

Connection
Arrival cocktail/mocktail is always a great way to break the ice…..let their hair down and know they’re in a safe place. We then moved into the lounge, in front of the cosy fire to welcome everyone. I let everyone introduce themselves, say a few words on why they’re here, let us in a little. Then we sit down for our first feast. Tracy, from Feast Catering as always has served up a delicious dinner from local produce and fresh ingredients – just how I like it. There’s nothing better than bonding over food. She has catered all my retreats and is just so beautiful she adds an extra element to the retreat with her contagious smile, funny on liners and her huge knowledge and love of good whole food.
An early night for a 6:30am workout with yours truly.
Goodie Bags
Every retreat we love to spoil the girls and some of my favourite brands come together to create the ultimate goodie bag. All products and goodies that I love that serve a purpose. Movement
For me – moving your body in the morning is a non negotiable . The positive impacts on your life are worth the early alarm. Some women curse me a little – but once done – it’s all smiles as endorphins are high as we go into breakfast. Usually front and centre at these workouts – Emily helped demonstrate while I instructed and gave everyone a nice kick up the butt.

Nourishment
Breakfast is made by me – my home made granola, home made sourdough, with fresh berries and fruit, yummy yogurt, local honey and local eggs. Conversations keep flowing as breakfast is eaten and connections are made.
The next session is an educational one – day one run by me, day two run by Emily. Empowering you with knowledge, inspiration and food for thought. Stepping outside your comfort zone to give you focus’s to take away. On the retreat I provide a resource book – filled with a meal plan, resources, mindset tools, breathing exercises too so you can take away everything you learn, take notes so you can put it in your own language.
Lunch follows with make your own nourish bowls. Grains, leaves, herbs, protein, nuts and seeds, an array of vegetables really taking in so much nourishment to fuel our bodies and our brains. It makes me happy seeing all the women enjoy it so much – showing that healthy food and nourishment is also delicious and makes you feel so good.
Indulgence

The afternoon is massages, followed by Yoga and meditation as well as some free time to just do as you please. A walk, a nap, read a book or continue creating friendships or chatting with me or Emily. I find it takes mums a little while longer to switch off, not knowing what to do with no time schedule per se, or responsibilities apart from looking after you. Snacks I’ve made including banana bread, protein balls and my healthy caramel slice are on offer as well as always an abundance of fruit.
Dinner is another creation from Tracy, followed by a delicious desert. It’s all about balance after all.
Committments
Saturday night I always do a little fun trivia night. To cement learnings from the weekend and have a little fun. The mood is always light and it can get emotional as we know it’s almost time to say goodbye. The women not really realising until that point how badly they needed the break. To fill their cups. To just breathe.
Sunday morning’s movement session and breakfast as usual before a commitment session finish. If nothing changes nothing changes – so we commit to taking home learnings and implementing them into our lives. It can be something small – but impactful. Small changes are all you need to make great change.
And just like that – I want to do another. Even 8 days post surgery – I love them. I say I won’t do anymore…then once over – I’m already planning the next. Seeing the women leave so empowered. So full. The smiles on their faces. The excitement to go home to put in to practice what they’ve learnt and taken away.
How can I not keep doing them. Keep impacting women’s lives like this.
So we did. Bali 2026 – is booked out. So Byron Bay October 2025 – 2 nights is on.
